Bowmore Distillery
Bowmore Distillery is Islay’s first and oldest distillery. It was established in 1779 and stands on the shores of Lochindaal where it first began. Tradition is honoured by using the 240 year old distilling methods and time has perfected the process from malting barley to fermentation in the finest quality oak casks resulting in world-class, hand-crafted, single malt Scotch whisky.
