Buffalo Trace
Buffalo Trace is a distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky USA. Said to be the oldest continuously operating distillery in the United States dating back to 1775. The property is a National Historic Landmark. During the prohibition it was allowed to continue operating to make whiskey for “medicinal purposes”. They are known for bourbon whiskey but also produce rye whiskey and vodka.
