Cape of Storms Distillery was started and run in-house by The Meiring family who produced a craft rum inspired by the sailors who, for hundreds of years would sail our waters and seek safety in our bay from the treacherous cape storms. Their shares were then sold to Wayne Shonfeld who is passionate in taking the brand to the next level.
