City on a Hill
City on a Hill was started in 2015 by André Bruyns. He was inspired by his vintner experience in France and locally in Tulbagh but then finally settled in the Swartland where the climate reminds him of the same climate and planting conditions in the south of France. His grapes are sourced from various farms in the region and minimal intervention is applied to his process of production – natural fermentation in concrete and oak barrels.
