Darling Brewery
Darling Brewery, located in the small town of Darling, is one of the most well known craft beer breweries in South Africa. It’s also Africa’s first carbon-neutral brewery. It was founded in 2010 by Kevin and Phillipa Wood and later sold to Mario Delicio in 2015. It’s managed by Tewie Roos who has a driven vision for the brand. “Slow beer” is the name of their first beer, but also their philosophy of slow fermentation and focusing on producing small batches so care and attention is given to creating bespoke beers. They have various ranges like craft, premium, and ready-to-drink beers.
