Iona Wines
Iona wine estate can be found in the Elgin wine region just outside of Cape Town. It was started in 1997 by Andrew Gunn. It’s specific location, close, but at a higher altitude to the Atlantic ocean allows for the sea fog to blanket the grapes resulting in a slow ripening process of the fruit, which means perfectly balanced acidity, moderate alcohol and well developed wines.
