Kyoto Distillery was established in 2016. It’s the first distillery in Japan to be solely dedicated to making gin. It’s a small-batch, artisanal gin made using high-quality rice spirit and botanicals such as yuzu; lemon; sansho pepper; ginger and gyokuro tea sourced locally from Kyoto farmers. They are in collaborations with some of Kyoto’s finest artisans and craftsmen.
