Laphroaig, founded in 1815, is a single malt whisky distillery located on the Isle of Islay in Scotland. They produce whiskies characterised by their bold and robust flavour profile, heavily influenced by peat smoke. The malt used in production is dried over an open peat fire which imparts the strong smokiness. The other leading character is the oceanic notes which is due to the close proximity to the sea. They have a 10 year; Select; Quarter Cask and Triple Wood each with distinctive bold flavours.
