Meerlust Estate was founded in 1693 and has been owned by the Myburgh family for eight generations. It’s located in the Stellenbosch wine region. They produce high-quality wines that showcase the terroir of the Stellenbosch region. Their flagship is the Bordeaux-style red blend called Rubicon. It’s a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon; Merlot; Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot and is widely regarded as one of South Africa’s iconic red wines. They also produce Chardonnay, Merlot and Pinot Noir that are crafted with meticulous attention to detail.
