Melaurea is produced by Cape Town Meadery. They blend ancient African traditions with modern twists to “reinvent” the worlds oldest fermented beverage: mead. The Melaurea Mead Methode Traditionelle (Brut) is a bubbly mead, the first in South Africa. It’s made from organic African honey that’s fermented in the bottle using Champagne yeast. It’s considered a ‘dry’ bubbly with only 2g of residual sugar. Enjoyed for its elegance and tiny delicate bubbles.
