Oban Distillery
Oban Distillery was founded in 1794 by brothers Hugh and John Stevenson. It’s one of the oldest distilleries in Scotland and has a rich history of whisky production. It’s located in the coastal town of Oban, in the West Highlands of Scotland. It’s location near the coast has a significant influence on the character of their whiskies. They are known for producing distinctive single malts characterised by balance of sweetness, fruitiness and peat smoke.
