AA Badenhorst Secateurs Red 750ml

The name comes from the secateurs that shape the bush vines during the winter pruning and are used to pick the ripe grapes in summer. The grape varietal used in this blend are Cinsault (82%), Shiraz (10%) and Grenache (8%). The hefty Cinsault component ensures excellent ageing and enough suppleness for drinking young. The aromas are perfumed, peppery, spicy and display ripe red fruit notes. The palate texture of this style wine is, as always, supple, smooth on entry but with enough grip and freshness to finish dry and refreshing.
