The vineyards are planted exclusively on decomposed granite soils in Stellenbosch’s Polkadraai Hills, enjoying a higher elevation and significant maritime influence. These marginal soils are ideal for early ripening, enabling us to produce a wine that is fragrant and fresh.

Tasting Notes: Freshness, finesse, and elegance are hallmarks of this wine, while still offering concentration and structure. Red and dark cherries, floral notes, spice, and earthy elements contribute to its layered complexity. The palate showcases concentrated fruit, fine yet structured tannins, and wonderful fresh acidity.

Aging Potential: While captivating in its current state, Liberté 2021 promises to evolve beautifully over time. With careful cellaring, it will reach its peak enjoyment in more than 10 years.
