Die Hart Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml

Conceived by Jeannette and David Clarke of the wine distribution company Ex Animo, and made by Nils and Alice Verburg from Luddite in Bot River. The grapes were sourced from a farm on the Van der Stel Pass between Bot River and Villiersdorp, as well as from Gabriëlskloof. The wine was matured for 24 months in neutral oak. Its heady aromatics feature notes of cassis, violets, lavender, along with some leafiness and earth. The palate is deep and rich with bright acidity and chewy tannins. While there’s plenty of fruit power, the bone-dry finish prevents the wine from becoming too luscious.
