Vineyard Notes:
Nestled on the schist-rich soils of Roundstone Farm, their Chenin Blanc bush vines thrive in a sustainably farmed environment. These rocky soils promote smaller vine size and grape clusters, resulting in a higher skin-to-juice ratio. This contributes to the structure and freshness of our SCHIST Chenin Blanc, reflecting the pure sunshine of the region.

Production Notes:
Naturally fermented in oak barrels and aged on the lees until spring, this Chenin Blanc undergoes malolactic fermentation and is then racked and blended before bottling unfiltered.

Maturation:
Eleven months in French oak barrels have produced a wine with phenolic balance, a full palate, and the jubilant freshness characteristic of SCHIST soils. Aromas of fresh quince, white peach, and lime are complemented by a firm chalky texture and a zesty finish.
