Sijnn White 2022 750ml

SIJNN WHITE 2022 is a blend of Chenin Blanc, Viognier, Verdelho, and Roussanne from a vineyard with complex stony soils and a warm, dry climate. The grapes are grown as bush vines on drought-resistant rootstocks.

The wine has a golden color and a focused minerality with hints of peach, apricot, and bruised yellow apple. On the palate, there are subtle notes of mandarin, orange peel, and a touch of salinity, followed by a fine acidity. The texture is rich and full-bodied, with a beautiful balance of minerals and dried fruit.

This versatile wine pairs well with grilled chicken salad or pan-seared Kingklip with mango salsa. It has received high praise from critics, including a 4.5-star rating from Platter’s Wine Guide and 93 points from Tim Atkin.
