The Chocolate Block 1.5L Magnum

A blend of Syrah, Grenache, Cinsault, Cab Sauv, Viognier. The make-up of this wine is tweaked from vintage to vintage to best reflect the season and the ancient vines of great character that are an important part of the wine’s charm and personality. Syrah is the dominant varietal along with Grenache, Cinsault, Cabernet Sauvignon and Viognier. A gorgeous expression of floral perfume on the nose supported by cedar, redcurrant, black pepper, coriander and suggestions of Turkish Delight. Softened red fruit follow onto the palate which is multilayered and displays marzipan, mineral notes and a structure that’s silky. Very well poised and textured wine.
