Verdelho
Verdelho is a fortified dessert wine originating from the island of Madeira, Portugal. Due to its natural high acidity that balances the high sugar content its a notably sweet wine. Characterised aromatically with tropical fruits like pineapple; melon; guava and honeysuckle. Its medium-dry, oily texture wine that pairs well with Thai, Vietnamese and Malaysian dishes. Verdelho is an un-oaked style wine and not meant to be aged.
