Pinotage, home to our lands. Pinotage was created in South Africa in 1925 when Pinot Noir was crossed with Cinsaut to create a deliciously tasting wine that grew well in our climate. It’s deep red / purple in colour and boasts bold flavours of tar; licorise; plum sauce and dark berries with aromatic hints of smoke and rooibos. A full-bodied wine with light to medium tannins and bold flavours pairs it well with anything meaty; cheddar or gouda cheese and curries.
