Tequila
Tequila, a renowned Mexican distilled spirit made from the fermented juice of the blue agave plant. Characterised by its distinctive and often earthy; herbaceous; fruity or peppery flavours. Tequila has a long ageing process in oak barrels which play a significant role in shaping their flavour profiles, taste experience and results in different types: Blanco / Silver (aged 2 months); Gold (minimally aged); Reposado (aged 2 – 12 months); Anejo (aged 1 – 3 years) and Extra Anejo Tequila (aged 3+ years). Tequila is enjoyed neat or can be the foundation of cocktails.
