Alheit Fire By Night Chenin Blanc 2022 750ml

A single origin Chenin Blanc from the Swartland (Paardeberg). The vines are situated 300-350 meters above sea level on pure decomposed granite soil, and were planted between 1972 and 1985. Whole bunch pressed, the grapes are then wild fermented in old barrels, cement eggs and foudres for a month. Kept on lees for 12 months, the wine is then rested in tank for 6 more months before being bottled.
