Avondale Qvevri Red 750ml

The first wine farm in South Africa to utilise Qvevri in their wine making. Ancient clay vessels, from the country Georgia, allows the wine to breathe as it ferments. As it ages in the clay, so a beautiful brightness of fruit and minerality is brought to the wine. A great natural blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvédre. The wine has a great balance between the fine tannins of the whole bunch, bright natural acidity, an abundance of succulent red fruits and the earthiness from the Qvevri that keeps you wanting more.
