The grapes used in crafting the Franschhoek Cabernet Sauvignon are sourced from two neighboring vineyards situated in the valley, both thriving in deep alluvial soils. Additionally, fruit from our estate vineyards flourishes on slopes enriched with decomposed granitic soils, characteristic of the Bo-hoek district where Boekenhoutskloof is nestled. These vineyards, including Cabernet Sauvignon and a small portion of Cabernet Franc, have been meticulously tended through organic farming practices for the past 13 years. This dedicated approach consistently yields exceptional quality fruit, contributing to the excellence of each new vintage.
