Boekenhoutskloof, located in the Franschhoek Valley was established back in 1776 and is named after the indigenous Boekenhout Cape Beech tree. They are specialists of Syrah, selling out of their Premium Boekenhoutskloof range on release of each vintage. The other quality wines they produce are The Chocolate Block (most successful new wine globally); The Wolftrap (a blended Rhone-style wine) and Porcupine Ridge (quality every-day drinking wine).
