Crafted from carefully chosen sections of Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards in Stellenbosch, situated on the north-western inclines of the Helderberg mountain and a south-eastern slope of Vlottenburg. These specific areas yield superb Cabernet Sauvignon grapes nurtured by a blend of deep decomposed granite soils intermixed with Table Mountain sandstone and “koffieklip”. The subtle coastal influence from the nearby cool False Bay coast, coupled with the granitic soils, imbue this wine with its characteristic minerality and timeless, graphite-esque character.
