Vineyard Notes: The Landscape Series Elodie Chenin Blanc is sourced from two distinctive dry-land Swartland vineyards: Jakkalsfontein (granite soils, planted in 1981) and Nuweland (iron-rich soils, planted in 1982).

Winemaking: Grapes were whole-bunch pressed and naturally fermented. 10% of the wine was fermented and aged in clay amphorae, while the rest was fermented and matured in older barrels. The wine spent nine months on its lees before blending and bottling.

Tasting Notes: Aromas of baked apple, lemon curd, honey, and ripe peach lead to a palate with apricots, kumquats, and lime peel. The wine is balanced with freshness and a briny, sea-spray-like minerality.
