Beaumont Wines, located in Bot River in the Overberg region, is a historic farm (Compagnes Drift) that was purchased by Jayne and Raoul Beaumont in 1974. Today it’s still a family run farm, with Sebastian and Nici who have updated the branding, restored many of the original buildings, added a deli and have three quaint self-catering cottages. The working water mill is one of the oldest in South Africa and it’s home to the regions oldest wine cellar dating back to the 1700s, built by the Dutch East India Company.
