Mijenta is a premium tequila produced in the town of Tequila in Jalisco, Mexico. It was first launched in 2020. It’s made from 100% blue Weber agave that’s hand-harvested. The agave plants are slow-roasted in brick ovens, crushed and fermented using natural airborne yeast. The fermented juice is then distilled in copper pot stills and aged in a variety of barrels like the American white oak, French oak and Hungarian oak to create different expressions. The ranges includes the Blanco (unaged) ; Reposado (aged for six months) and Anejo (aged for eighteen months).
