Carinus Family Vineyards
Carinus Family Vineyards is the passion collaboration of two friends and other relatives who started making wine in 2011. Their knowledge has been passed down over six generations from family members who were vineyard growers. Their vineyards grow iron-rich granite soils in the Swartland, Devon Valley and Polkadraai in Stellenbosch. They use artisanal winemaking processes to produce their wines that are inspired by the soil in which they grow.
