Dalmore Distillery
Dalmore Distillery was founded in 1839 in Alness, Scotland. In 1867 descendants of Clan Mackenzie acquired ownership of the distillery. The 12-point stag symbol is an honouring adornment bestowed upon Colin of Kintail, Chiefton of Clan Mackenzie when he saved the King of Scotland, Alexander III from a ranging stag.
Their process focusses on multi-cask maturation resulting in robust, fruity and deeply complex age-old whiskies.
