Lillet is a French aperitif wine made from a blend of Bordeaux wines and citrus liqueur. It was created in 1872 in Podensac, Bordeaux, France. It has a fruity and slightly floral flavour profile with hints of orange; honey and herbs. Commonly served chilled and straight, or as a key ingredient in cocktails like the Vesper Martini (popularised by the James Bond novels).
