Marras Wines
Marras Wines is a boutique winery in Stellenbosch. The founders, Martin and Marie-Louise Smith are passionate about crafting high-quality wines that reflect the terroir of the Swartland and Piekenierskloof wine regions which is where they source their grapes. They produce small batches of wines of the Chenin blanc; Cabernet Sauvignon; Merlot and Cabernet Franc varietals. The name is derived from the Afrikaans word of “phantom / ghost”, reflecting the mysterious and ethereal quality of their wines.
