Cluver & Jack is a collaboration between family friends inspired to revive old family traditions. Bruce Jack’s great grandfather was the first to plant apple cider trees in South Africa. The Cluver family (owners of De Rust farm and Paul Cluver wine label) and the Jacks family (owners of Appelsdrift Farm and The Drift Farm label) produce this authentic natural cider on the Paul Cluver winery in Elgin. This cider is made with meticulous care using a natural process starting from hand-picking the perfectly ripe apples from the trees, to slowly squeezing all the juice out, to gravity-clarifying the fresh juice, then cool fermenting it to cider and finally filtering out the yeast.
